Welcome to Seabrook Sailing Club
Galveston Bay’s oldest centerboard sailing club invites you to rediscover the joys of sailing! The Seabrook Sailing Club (SSC) has been the destination on the Bay for Houston area sailors since 1934, with fleets for all ages and experience including Catamarans, Lasers, Sunfish, Optimists and Windsurfers. We offer regular social sail events, racing, organized junior sailing, social activities, plus sail and windsurf training.
Come down to the Bay and visit our family oriented co-op club with new clubhouse, mast-up storage, and easy bay access. You'll soon discover why the Seabrook Sailing Club is the place to sail and socialize on Galveston Bay.

2026 4th of July
SSC celebrates!Our annual 4th of July member celebration will begin at 4pm with model boat building, a watermelon race, and an egg toss. We're hosting a hot dog social at 6pm and then will watch the fireworks together at 9:30pm.

Fireworks Fridays
Kemah Boardwalk presents Fireworks Fridays every Friday night in June & July, fireworks begin at 9:30.SSC provides the perfect vantage point to watch the Kemah Boardwalk fireworks so bring some food & drink and enjoy the show.

Sunday June 21, we completed the 2026 Summer Solstice Regatta. The weather did not help and we were only able to complete 3 races on Sunday.Results can be seen at Regatta Network.

Cinco de Gato - Catamaran Race
Cinco de Gato - Saturday, May 2 RecapThank you everybody for coming out to play in the rough conditions. This was by a large margin the biggest CdG we have ever held with 17 boats. We had some tight racing in the spinnaker fleet. With a finish down to a matter of seconds. Second and third were split by about 55 seconds as well in the non Spin fleet. There were a few capsizes, and several boats called the race early.
